Auburn Library is closing January 2025 for approximately 18 months for multi-million-dollar updates and safety renovations; we (Auburn Free Tai Chi) will be welcomed back for Auburn Library T’ai Chi upon completion sometime in 2026!
For complete information, visit www.placer.ca.gov/library, then click “About” then “Building Forward Auburn” for updates!
In the meantime, here is our schedule:
Our last day at Auburn Library will be Tue. Dec. 31 at 8 AM
On Thurs. Jan. 2 and Fri. Jan. 3 we will be at Railhead Park, covered picnic area, Pacific Ave., Auburn 95603
Beginning Tue. Jan. 7, we will be at this free location EVERY TUESDAY AT 8 AM:
McAuley Meadows Apartments – come to glass front door and we will let you in. You can park anywhere (large lot) that is not designated staff only.
585 Sacramento St (corner of Auburn Folsom Rd. & Sacramento St – it’s a 3-story building)
Auburn 95603
And we will be at Railhead Park every Thurs. & Fri. At 8 AM.
Of course you can browse the entire collection online and download many materials of all kinds. If you want to browse a physical library collection, I recommend Rocklin Library, 4890 Granite Dr., Rocklin (near I-80 & Rocklin Rd)
To attend another weekly indoor session every Monday:
Auburn Senior Center
11960 Heritage Oak Pl, Ste 15

This session is led by our own Jaya! It’s a lovely group. You need to have a membership in the Senior Center and pay individually for each class.
