The Auburn Free T’ai Chi began meeting outside as result of the COVID-19 closure of public facilities, our beloved Placer County Library.
After trying a few places in Recreation Park we moved over to Railhead Park into the covered picnic area, in front of the pond. When the library reopened after COVID closure we continued to meeting on Friday morning at this lively location.
Today we meet here on Thursday and Friday morning, 8 AM. It is expected to be our venue in the forceable future, at least until summer 2025.
Railhead Park, 175 Pacific Ave., Auburn, California

Public restrooms and water fountain is provided at the park.

Sessions run from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. Since we are not time boxed at this facility please come with questions for the instructors after class.

Dress for the weather. Gloves/mittens are advisable during the winter months. The picnic area provide a cover to protect us from rain and sun.
This is a nice place to leave your car and go for a walk in the woods after Tai Chi (as it is in the vicinity of Overlook Park and the Auburn State Park).
